From Areas North
- Traveling from regions North of Route 50 in Maryland and East of Route 270, follow I-495/Capital Beltway to I-295/Baltimore Washington Parkway Southbound
- If traveling directly from Baltimore, follow I-295 Southbound
- Continue Southbound on I-295
- Take Exit 1 US Naval Research Lab/DC WASA/Blue Plains (Overbrook Avenue)
- Make the first right at the intersection of Overbrook Avenue and Chappie James Boulevard
- Proceed through the South Gate/Visitor’s Entrance
- From the South Gate/Visitor’s Entrance continue straight on Chappie James Boulevard
- Turn right on MacDill Boulevard
- You may park in any unmarked spot. Parking is very limited
- Visitor Entrance is on the left
From Areas South
- Traveling from regions South of Route 50 in Maryland and South of Route 66 in Virginia, follow I-495/Capital Beltway to I-295/Baltimore Washington Parkway Northbound
- Continue Northbound on I-295 to Exit 1 Laboratory Road/US Naval Research Lab
- Turn right onto Overlook Boulevard
- Bear to the left at the third light and proceed through the South Gate/Visitor's Entrance
- From the South Gate/Visitor’s Entrance continue straight on Chappie James Boulevard
- Turn right on MacDill Boulevard
- You may park in any unmarked spot. Parking is very limited
- Visitor Entrance is on the left

Parking
Parking is very limited around the DIAC. Please allocate additional travel time into your schedule. Also look for HLT directional signage leading to additional parking.
If you park in the North Parking Garage there are white shuttles that will bring you to the entrance of the DIAC. The shuttles run during peak hours (5:50am - 9:00am & 2:00pm -5:00pm) every 15 minutes.
Carpooling: If you will be carpooling in a government vehicle you may park in the bottom level of the parking garage attached to the DIAC. You must have government plates on the vehicle and an IC Badge.
