All DoD Special Security Officers and DoD Contractors performing SSO functions are invited to attend. This will be the first Worldwide SSO Conference in over three years, and the goal is to review the present state of the DoD Special Security System and to learn, discuss, and shape the future.

The theme of this year’s conference will be “Securing Intelligence Information — Today and Tomorrow” and will cover the range of Special Security Office (SSO) functions with a focus on the cyber and insider threats. In addition to distinguished plenary speakers, there will be breakout sessions for specific security topics and for the Military Services, and exhibitions of security related goods and services by both government and industry.
