TIPS FOR EXHIBITORS

Exhibiting at our targeted events is a valuable opportunity to increase your company’s exposure and grow your business. To ensure that your experience is positive, please take a moment to review these helpful tips.

In-agency Technology Expositions

  • Always submit your security information on time in order to gain access to secure show locations.
  • Be on time! The VIP Tour typically begins at 9:30 am so be ready and set up by 9:00 am.
  • Let us know who your target audience is at a show location. We will be sure to invite them to the Expo!
  • Submit an alternate representative’s security information just in the case of an emergency.
  • Set appointments to coincide with the event. Make your travel time productive by meeting with current and potential clients in the area.
  • Travel with the Exhibitor Information Packet as it contains important information such as driving directions and special security instructions.
  • Know how to describe your company in 30 seconds or less.
  • Do not leave your exhibit space unattended.
  • Demonstrate your product rather than handing out paper brochures. Take advantage of this face to face opportunity!
  • Don’t pack up early! It reflects poorly on your company when your exhibit space is empty.

Conferences & Conventions

  • Order your booth furniture, carpeting and accessories early to receive advance order discount rates.
  • If you are shipping supplies to the show site, follow the directions given by NCSI exactly.
  • To ensure your company listing is printed in the program guide, you must submit your listing by the deadline indicated.
  • Sponsorships offer creative avenues for additional marketing opportunities. Call us today to receive information about sponsorship opportunities.
  • Do not leave your exhibit space unattended. You never know when your next customer will be coming!
  • Attendees prefer exhibitors who smile, are outgoing, knowledgeable, articulate and personable.
  • Demonstrations draw more attention than papers and brochures. Get noticed!
  • Don’t pack up early! It reflects poorly on your company when your exhibit space is empty.
  • Use lead retrieval devices to help you organize your contacts, increase your customer database, and follow up in a timely manner.

At one event you could accomplish what may otherwise take months. Take advantage of this face to face opportunity to market your company and increase your federal sales.
