NCSI produces industry days each year for various federal customers.
These events typically consist of briefings by agency leaders on a single day,
and are attended by 400-1000 contractors' representatives seeking information on
short- and long-term vision, initiatives and budget forecasts.
We have helped several agencies host industry days as a means of publicly kicking
off large procurements and soliciting information from vendors (RFIs), thereby
maintaining proper competitive climates. Agencies have also used these widely-attended
forums to introduce new leaders after an appointment or change of command.
Hosting an Industry Day provides:
- An organized forum to present current and future initiatives
- Improved contractor-government collaboration
- A simplified and structured industry outreach mechanism
- An impetus for innovation that will better support your mission
NCSI can position an industry day to support any theme specified by the government customer. Past themes have included:
- Initiative to find new sources
- New policy articulation
- Emerging technologies
- Human resources systems integration
- Small business outreach
