Due to the recent flooding in Nashville, the site of the 1st Annual Training Support System (TSS) Workshop has been relocated to the Hilton Chicago in Chicago, IL from 16 - 20 August 2010. If you previously registered for the event, you will receive an email from NCSI concerning your registration.
The 1st Annual Army Training Support System (TSS) Workshop is sponsored by the TSS HQDA Proponent, the Director of Army Training, Training Support Division (DAMO-TRS). The theme for this year’s event is Forging the Integrated Training Environment. The Army TSS is a system of systems that provides the networked, integrated, interoperable training support necessary to enable an operationally relevant training environment for warfighters. In short, it is an integrated training support enterprise that is flexible and tailorable to meet dynamic training strategies. It is comprised of product lines, architectures and standards, management, evaluation, and resource processes that enhance training effectiveness. The Army TSS Workshop combines various individual workshops and symposiums across the TSS Enterprise in an effort to enhance awareness and communication among individual TSS components and the TSS Enterprise as a whole. In addition, breakout sessions shall be co-located with the TSS Workshop to include: the Army Sustainable Range Program (SRP), the Army Master Gunner’s Conference; Army Range Safety Meetings; Army Environmental Conservation Breakout; National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Breakout; Training Support Center Conference (TSC Conference); Battle Command Training Support Program (BCTSP) Breakout; and the Navy Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM) Breakout. The TSS Workshop is being managed by the TRADOC Capability Manager - Live (TCM-L). |
