Training — Cross Domain Information Sharing (T-CDIS) Community of Interest
*** This session is geared toward the COCOM & Service Training Community of Interest; conference attendees are welcome to attend until the room is at capacity

Presented by the United States Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) J7/Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC), this session is the second on-site meeting in the collaborative pursuit of a functional CDIS solution in the Joint Training Environment (JTE). This session will further expand on the issues collected and requirements process initiated by the T-CDIS October 2009 summit. Topics explored in this session will include a requirements process update, updates on the Afghanistan Mission Network and the Joint Coalition Network Architecture, updates on Service and COCOM CDIS efforts, a review of the issue-driven requirements identified to-date as a result of the October Summit, and the way-ahead for T-CDIS.

The ESM/Audit Management team leads the audit standards initiatives in industry, open source and government standards communities. The industry standards Secure Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Common Event Expression (CEE) and Event Management Automation Protocol (EMAP) will be discussed during this session. Together with our partners, the IA Infrastructure Development & Operations Group (iDOG) provides ESM products & services responsive to our clients' assured information sharing needs. We serve a far-reaching customer set comprised of Combatant Commands, Military Services, Defense & Federal Agencies, the Intelligence Community and Allies. Briefings will be provided by: Ms. Bonita Traylor, Mr. James Goodier, Dr. Katherine Goodier, Mr. Bill Heinbockel and Mr. George Saylor.

Mr. Jim Feagans, Chair of the Enterprise Standards Committee will be presenting the Intelligence Community (IC) Enterprise Standards Governance (ICESG) processes and how they maintain close coordination with the DoD IT Standards Program.

The IC manages its baseline of standards via the IC Standards Registry (ICSR). The DoD manages its baseline via the DoD IT Standards Registry (DISR). The IC and DoD coordinate on standards by sharing specified resources and processes.
