Driving Directions

Just 8 miles from Portland International Airport (PDX), visitors can access the Oregon Convention Center (OCC) via Interstate 5 North from Exit 302A–Rose Quarter, or from Interstate 84 West Exit 1–Lloyd Boulevard.

Parking Options

Garage: Onsite parking is provided in the convention center’s underground garage. You may enter the garage through either the NE Lloyd Boulevard (P1) or NE First Avenue (P2) entrances. Standard Daily Rate: $12

Street parking and drop-off/pick-up zones: There are 566 metered parking spaces within three blocks of the OCC. Short term drop-off/pick-up zones are available adjacent to the convention center on NE Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Boulevard and on NE Holladay Street. All drop-off and loading zones are located on an accessible route to an accessible building entrance, and have adequate vertical and horizontal clearance. Not all zones have an unobstructed aisle next to the vehicle pull-up space. There is a public-use sidewalk, which may be obstructed by pedestrians and attendees.

Public Transportation

Each DoDIIS participant will receive a complimentary TriMet Transit Hop Fastpass at registration, which provides access to the Portland Streetcar and MAX Light Rail in the Portland Metropolitan area good for the week of December 12th-14th. For travel between the convention center and downtown, use the red and blue lines. The pass is not replaceable. If lost, the fare for an adult TriMet pass is $2.50/2-hour ticket or $5.00/1-day.

MAX Light Rail: Portland’s TriMet MAX light rail stops 300 times a day at the convention center’s front door, connecting riders to downtown, surrounding neighborhoods, the Oregon Zoo, and Portland International Airport.

Streetcar: Portland Streetcar’s Central Loop stops at the MLK Lobby entrance every 15 minutes.
