WELCOME to the bi-annual DoD Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Summit 25-2 hosted by the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (DoD CIO) and the DoD MPE Executive Agent (EA) with participation from the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Services, Agencies (CC/S/As), and key stakeholders from across the MPE community. The Summit will continue to focus on current capabilities, ongoing development activities, and future modernization efforts with the goal of prioritizing and overseeing progress of the following initiatives established by the DoD CIO to enable enterprise capabilities:

  1. Global Network Operations and Security Center (GNOSC)
  2. Zero Trust (ZT)/Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM)
  3. Cloud/Gateway Implementation

The Summit’s theme, “Evolving MPE: Implementing Zero Trust Security in the IL6 Cloud” reinforces DoD’s overarching strategic shift that embraces technology as a mission enabler. Experts from across the Department will come together to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and shape the future for an integrated, scalable, adaptive, and resilient security architecture supporting Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) and global coalition operations. At this Summit, we will not shy away from these challenges – we will meet them head-on. This Summit is dedicated to rolling up our sleeves and putting real markers down to achieve success in identifying potential courses of action to implement the GNOSC; establishing a robust cryptographic framework to ensure secure, interoperable, and resilient data sharing and communications across U.S. and allied networks within the MPE; and delivering a functional, scalable, sustainable and secure MPE gateway reference architecture.

We invite you to be part of this vital conversation, a dialogue that promises not only to envision a future of enhanced, secure networks and data, platforms, and MPE Ecosystems, but also to lay the groundwork for achieving it. Whether you’re an IT, cybersecurity, data, or engineering professional, a government official, in uniform, or a business leader, your voice matters.

Why Should You Participate?

The DoD MPE Summit will feature interactive panel discussions, keynotes, and breakout sessions with leaders and executives from DoD and industry.
