The 2020 Photogrammetry, 3D Visualization, and Lidar Community of Practice Conference (P3DL) is moving forward for the week of August 10th with some modifications put in place as a result of the phased reopening of many states. This year’s theme will be “Shaping The Future, Building the New 3D Tradecraft.” We understand and are monitoring the current COVID-19 situation, and the planning committee is currently working on the best way to facilitate the upcoming event via virtually. As the event approaches we will post updates on the event schedule and any additional information you might need.
The goal of the conference is to collaboratively drive innovation and explore capabilities for photogrammetry, 3D, and lidar technologies to help answer current and emerging DoD and IC needs. Attendees from across the U.S. government, academia, and industry are invited to collaborate on innovations in sensor advancement, algorithm development, photogrammetric, and 3D visualization tradecraft. We endeavor to create an environment where participants can discuss successes and challenges, and exchange ideas on future work.
We look forward to another great P3DL Conference, just virtual this time!
